Whether you have been with us for years or have just discovered us recently – we want to thank you for your business and for placing an order with us.
If you have ordered from us within the last couple weeks, you might be wondering, “Hey, where is my order?” or “Why did it take so long to ship?”. We completely understand! When we order something online, we want it delivered yesterday. We normally ship orders out in 1 to 2 business days and right now the posted turnaround time is 10 to 14 business days so that is quite a big difference.
A wonderful customer of ours posted a TikTok video about our products that has received a lot of attention. If you know anything about social media, you know that these things can sometimes snowball beyond anyone’s imagination. How amazing is it that we can connect from all around the world over something we love – fragrances!
It is obviously awesome for us that our website has received so much traffic and we are so very thankful and appreciative. However, when your order volume increases by more than 60 times the usual volume just out of nowhere – it is bound to cause some major delays.
What are you doing about it?
Over the last 3 weeks, we have all been working 12+ hour days and over the weekends to catch up. We suspended our phone answering system for the time being so that we can focus on order processing and answering emails and texts. We know that is frustrating for people who really like to be able to call and speak with someone. If you send us an email (email@example.com) or text (772-888-1564), we are answering most emails within 24 to 48 hours. If you have not received a reply after 48 hours, please re-send the message as we may have missed it.
We have had to implement a minimum order to slow down incoming orders while we catch up on the orders that have been placed. This is not something we ever wanted to do as we have always offered our products at wholesale prices with no minimum order. It is part of our business slogan we have used since we started selling.
We are also in the process of hiring and training some new staff. More orders = more people needed to fill them. A big thank you again to all who have made this possible as you have allowed us to offer more job opportunities to people in our area.
We just wanted to take this time out to let everyone know what is going on and to be rest assured that your order will be shipped as soon as possible. Our website sends automated emails with the tracking number when it becomes available. Make sure to check your spam folder and alternate folders like “Promotions” in Gmail if you do not see it in your inbox. When we reply to you with an estimate on when your order will ship, please keep in mind that this is our best guess based on the orders we are filling now and how many orders are between your order and the orders being filled now.
As a small, family-owned business, this has turned our world upside down in a great way. We are all so thankful to everyone who has ordered or thought about ordering from us. We hope that everyone enjoys their order and has a wonderful experience with us for years to come.
We also want to apologize to our regular customers – our bread and butter who have been ordering from us for a while. You know who you are. We know you are accustomed to fast shipping, and your rely on this for your business. Please know that we have not forgotten about you and are doing everything possible so that your business is not delayed for long. At the end of the day, none of this would be possible without you!
