At Wholesale Body Oils, we currently offer more than 850 fragrances, allowing our customers to experience a wide variety of scents in many different products and sizes. 

A small number of fragrances require significantly more expensive aromatic ingredients, specialty compounds, or natural isolates. Because of this, certain fragrances fall into a higher raw material cost category.

To continue offering such a large fragrance selection while maintaining consistent product quality, a small adjustment will apply to these higher-cost fragrances.

These adjustments affect only 26 fragrances. This represents just over 3% of our fragrance catalog.

The vast majority of fragrances will remain the same price.

Why This Change Is Necessary

Fragrance formulas are composed of many different aromatic materials. While most fragrances fall within a standard cost range, some require ingredients that are substantially more expensive than typical fragrance components.

Rather than removing these fragrances from our catalog or compromising on ingredient quality, we have chosen to apply a modest surcharge that reflects the higher raw material costs associated with these specific fragrances.

This allows us to continue offering a wide fragrance selection while keeping pricing consistent across the rest of our catalog.

Premium Raw Material Fragrance Adjustments

The following adjustment will apply to the fragrances below with higher raw material costs.

These adjustments will automatically be reflected in product pricing when the affected fragrances are selected. They will apply automatically when the affected fragrances are selected. All other fragrances remain unchanged.

Quantity discounts still apply to these fragrances. The adjustment is simply calculated after the quantity discount has been applied.

Again, the vast majority of fragrances are not affected by these adjustments.

Updated Discount Structure

At the same time, we are transitioning to a percentage-based quantity discount structure across many products.

This change allows pricing to remain more consistent and easier to maintain across our large catalog.

In most cases, the updated percentage discounts work out to be virtually identical to the previous pricing, and in some cases may even result in prices that are slightly lower than before depending on the product and quantity selected.

Numbers Typed in Comments Box (NTICB)

All body fragrance products include an option labeled “NUMBERS TYPED IN COMMENTS BOX” (NTICB), which appears at the top of the fragrance list.

This option is provided primarily as a convenience for customers ordering multiple fragrances, allowing fragrance numbers to be entered in the comments box instead of selecting each fragrance individually from the dropdown list.

However, because certain fragrances include adjustments, we recommend selecting those fragrances from the dropdown list whenever possible so the correct pricing is automatically applied.

If fragrances that fall within the adjustment categories are entered using the NTICB option, the order may require manual review and the applicable price adjustment will still apply.

If necessary, we reserve the right to adjust the order total accordingly and invoice the balance before processing the order.

Orders requiring manual adjustments may experience processing delays, so selecting fragrances directly from the dropdown list is recommended when ordering fragrances listed in the premium adjustment categories.

Because our catalog contains a large number of products, these updates will be implemented gradually as products across the site are updated.

During this transition period, some products may reflect the new pricing structure before others.
